Costs for health insurance is on the rise. Each day Local 888 members see the pressure for higher premiums at the bargaining table. Our employer based health insurance system is crumbling and our health safety net is being dismantled. As health care gets more and more expensive and employers either can't afford to - or refuse to - pay their fair share, more and more Americans will join the ranks of the uninsured. We need leaders with real health care solutions. Be on the look out for candidates offering only band-aid solutions to America's health care crisis.
